Is there a possibility that a bug from the development version to make its way to the stable version?

The bug, a development one that was born from regression, can it slither its way into the stable version?

If so, what are the chances?

Every 10 to 12 weeks there is an update on Wine Stable. In this update, no major changes are made, only bug fixes that do not or cannot cause other problems. So it's quite possible that a regression will be fixed in 7.0.1
