Connect Wine to ham0

I have been running into this problem when trying to play some old games with hamachi. I found the command "route add -host 255.255.255.255 dev ham0" in old post, but ifconfig has been deprecated and, maybe im an idiot, but cant seem to be able to reproduce it with ip routes. I ask, not only to know if someone is more capable than my idiotic me to make that conversion, but to know if there's some newer way to force wine to ham0 interface
