MX Linux and wine?

I'm thinking of switching from linux Mint 20 to MX linux. I currently have 3 programs I need wine for that run great using wine 5.0.1 stable. I don't really know anything about MX Linux but am having a few problems in Mint which makes me want to change. MX linux looks like it has a simple installation process.

Does wine work well with MX linux? Do I just use the stable branch for Debian?

Yes, you can use the Debian Stable/ Buster packages on MX 19.
