Need to give Wine USB Access - Lutris, Manjaro

Post by negativezerosquared »

Hey all,
So I am very inexperienced when it comes to Wine, or most of Linux in general, and I recently switched over from Windows. Most of the products I use are Corsair, and there is very little support for it on Linux. Yes, I've tried ckb-next, but most of my products aren't supported by it, or any of it's counterparts for that matter. So I installed iCue, the software engine for all my peripherals, into a prefix through Lutris, and managed to get it running. However, I need to give Wine access to control all of my USB devices. How would I go about doing all of this?
Thanks

Probably iCue depends on the Windows drivers. You cannot install them on Linux/ Wine.
Wine can access all the files and devices your Linux user can, but without the Corsair drivers iCue wouldn't work.
In other words, ask Corsair if they could make a Linux driver or ask ckb-next if they can add your devices.
