I have a 10 year old game that crashes a lot under ubuntu 20.04/wine 5.0
I'm using the default Windows 7/64 bit wine settings. In general is it a good idea to try a 32 bit/Windows XP prefix instead. Or is it the case that if a 64 bit WINEPREFIX works at all, switching to a 32 bit WINEPREFIX won't help stability?
Thanks
Does 32 bit WINEPREFIX improve stability?
Re: Does 32 bit WINEPREFIX improve stability?
There are games and applications that don't work with Win7 / 64, so you can try it.
If this doesn't work, post the terminal output and the name of the game.
