Changing compatibility of a file

Post by jubestar »

Hi all
Trying to play Command & Conquer but I need to change the compatibility of a file. Any help on how I can do this? Get Info doesn't work.
Thanks

This is what I need to do:
Right click C&C95.exe
Select PROPERTIES
Select the COMPATIBILITY tab
Check the check box for “Run this program in compatibility mode for”
Select Windows 95 from the drop down menu
Check the check box for “Disable visual themes”
Check the check box for “Turn off advanced text services for the program”
click APPLY then OK

You should provide information on your setup and give terminal output if your experiencing issues

You think in Windows terms here, those settings don't exist on Wine.
You can use winecfg to set the Windows version for a program to Win95, but it's better to explain the problem you're having, like Gcenx said.
