Any tips for running sdbinst under wine?

I have a use case where I need to actually use sdbinst.exe to install a patch on a old windows app to get it to run at modern resolutions. When I try I get this error:

wine: Unimplemented function apphelp.dll.SdbIsDbRuntimePlatformSupportedOnHost

As far as I know there's no native version of this available either that I can use (at least not that I have been able to find). Is it possible to run this program under wine?

You could try native apphelp.dll. And best file a bugreport for this. Is the program and the patch freely available for us to test?
