ChemDraw 19.0 on Manjaro 18.15

Post by D3rMang0 »

Hello, i'm trying to install the ChemOfficeSuite 19.0 from PerkinElmer on a Manjaro 18.15 system with Wine 5.02. Unfortunately am i stuck. When trying to install, i'm unable to agree to the License agreement, because the boxes are all greyed out. The installer has as the requirement for the ability to accept that you scroll down the text of the license agreement, but nothing happens if i do that. Maybe someone has an idea, or had a similiar problem, thank you very much upfront for all answers. :)

Did not work, unfortunately. Are there some other winetricks that may be some "standards?

A Windows user has the same problem.
You could try the workaround:

Hello again, a while later it seems to work now. It is running now on Manjaro 19.0 with wine 5.0rc4-1. But it needed a few other tricks. It seems to run now in a wine32bit bottle using the installation tricks from ChemDraw Version 14.0, and not using the original .exe you get, but using the 32bit .msi file that gets extracted from the cos19.0.exe into the folder ~.wine/drive_c/users/[Username]/Application Data/PerkinElmerInformatics/Installers/cos19.0/PerkinElmer/ChemOffice/. Now you have to start the installation process, and that at least seems to have worked now. I don't know yet if all the functions are available, but we will see. But thank you all very much for your kind help and suggestions.
