Window partially invisible

Post by regx »

Hello,

I installed 2 Windows programs in Wine: one is Irfanview and it works fine, the other one is e-Sword which also works but its window is cut off on the right side, no matter if I try to move or resize it (screenshot here: https://imgur.com/Lix7uYe)

wine version is 4.20 and wine-mono 4.9.3. Can you help me please?

I can't reproduce this problem in a clean Wineprefix with Wine 4.20 on Debian Sid.
Could you post a terminal output?

This is the output (my distro is Arch): https://pastebin.com/raw/0qgWDd0p

I noticed that the invisible portion is "there" somehow, as if I click there, the windows below won't respond but sometimes I get a tooltip from e-sword.

I've also tried to delete my .wine directory and install e-sword only. It fails to register msxml3 and msxml6 but I could fix that manually. However I still have the same problem with the invisible window portion.

I noticed that the problem could have to do with theming. If I go to the Options menu > App Theme and choose "None (System)", then as soon as I move e-sword's window, the whole program becomes visible, I can maximize it, etc.
