I have the following situation:
Two sound devices:
- onboard sound chip
- external sound card
Both work perfectly in wine, however there is a problem with the speaker configuration.
In Doom (using proton/wine 3.16) when using the onboard sound, I get stereo output.
With the external card however I get surround sound even though I changed the speaker configuration from 4.0 to stereo in the prefix. But since I'm using headphones I need it to be stereo.
So, does the setting have any effect? Is there any workaround?
