Astro C40 Configuration not finding controller

I recently purchased an Astro C40 and needed to install the firmware update into the controller. After booting it up in wine, the program is not recognizing the controller. I know that it's a fairly new program but is there anything that I'm missing in terms of additional program downloads in the terminal? I tried using joystick but it's still now recognizing it. The controllers audio does however show up in the sound options with the correct name so i know it's recognizing it somehow. Thanks in advance for the help.
