No Feedback on Applying to Be a Maintainer

I filled out a form to become a maintainer of an app, but unlike other actions like submitting test results and screenshots, there doesn't seem to be any indication (e-mail, entry under "queued items") that I did so, as opposed to accidentally hitting "Back".

Emails are sent when the maintainer application is either approved or rejected.

FYI, there was one application in the maintainer queue when I checked, and I approved it a few minutes ago.
