I updated the wine to the 3.13 version, FINALLY.

My initial problem was I couldn't open PARTYPOKER app anymore. It used to work for two months and all of a sudden it stopped.

this is the outline

env WINEPREFIX="/home/nicki/.wine" wine C:\\Programs\\PartyGaming\\PartyGaming.exe -P=PartyPoker

ANY HELP please? I will also upload the FULL outline.

Code: Select all

0009:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
I don't know if that's the cause of your problem, but it is something you need to fix.

Posting terminal output inline is fine...
What is not so fine (and in fact is rather annoying) is when folks don't use the supplied forum:

Code: Select all

tags to demark terminal commands and output... :roll:

This is probably your (first? /) main issue:

Code: Select all

/**************************************************************************
*           SetFileCompletionNotificationModes   (KERNEL32.@)
*/
BOOL WINAPI SetFileCompletionNotificationModes( HANDLE handle, UCHAR flags )
{
    FIXME("%p %x - stub\n", handle, flags);
    SetLastError(ERROR_CALL_NOT_IMPLEMENTED);
    return FALSE;
}

Wine doesn't implement this (post-Windows Vista) Windows API call.

From:

Code: Select all

[0810/151518:FATAL:raw_channel_win.cc(592)] Check failed: g_vista_or_higher_functions.Get().SetFileCompletionNotificationModes( handle_.get().handle, FILE_SKIP_COMPLETION_PORT_ON_SUCCESS).
See: WineHQ FAQ.
Please read this document, otherwise you'll find Wine a PITA to use...

Does Party Poker support Windows XP, still? If so you could test by setting up a 32-bit WINPREFIX, set to Windows XP compatibility...

Code: Select all

export WINEPREFIX=~/.wine32
WINEARCH=win32 wineboot -u
winetricks winxp
