Hello,
because original changelog is not usefull for Wine android, is there special changelog for Wine for Android?
Wine for Android - where is changelog?
Re: Wine for Android - where is changelog?
Changes relevant to Android are included in the regular changelog for each release, so no, there is no separate one for Android.
Re: Wine for Android - where is changelog?
That is not good idea, because almost nothing now working on Android now, im using it on 4 machines and only very basic things are working, at least with x86 release.

That's true, but publishing a separate changelog wouldn't fix anything.ruthan wrote:That is not good idea, because almost nothing now working on Android now, im using it on 4 machines and only very basic things are working, at least with x86 release.

I dont agree, because know i have test every update by myself, would be better to get info from developers, what got improved for Android.. because general changelog is almost useless for Android experience..That's true, but publishing a separate changelog wouldn't fix anything.

Agreed, at least it would be nice to see if there is any work being done to add Oreo support. Or if Oreo support just isn't a priority to the guys at WineHQ.ruthan wrote:I dont agree, because know i have test every update by myself, would be better to get info from developers, what got improved for Android.. because general changelog is almost useless for Android experience..That's true, but publishing a separate changelog wouldn't fix anything.

Re: Wine for Android - where is changelog?
This lack of a response is giving me even more doubt in this project working on Android Oreo.
If this had support for Samsung DeX, I would be more than happy to support the project with a large donation, as I only like to offer financial support to developers that do more to drive innovation.
But right now, I'm having doubts that my money would be used in the optimisation for Wine on Android desktop enabled devices.
If they can prove that they are working to support this, I may look to support the project.
