Wine 2.0.2 - Error Logitech Options - SetDefaultDllDir

Post by jerem0808 »

Hi everyone,
I am trying to install the software from http://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/options with Wine on Ubuntu 16.04.
When I run the command wine myEXE.exe i get the following error:
fixme:file:SetDefaultDllDirectories(c00): stub
The entry point method could not be loaded.

Can someone help me?

Thank you very much in advance

Windows hardware drivers don't work in Wine. Hardware settings are controlled by the host system; use whatever tools your distro provides to change them. If you don't know how to do that, ask for help on the Ubuntu forum.

I believe Github: libratbag / piper will support some basic functionality configuration for many common Logitech mice models.
I've got it installed - but I've still to have a play around with the libratbag settings.
Obviously it won't allow all the customisation and features that the native Windows Logitech utility allows - but such is life.
