Hi, I have a ton of great audio software from my pre-Linux days. I don't expect to run sensitive and tender stuff like ProTools through Wine , but Cubase should be OK. I actually tested it a few months ago and it ran great. I seem to have run into trouble yesterday, as the audio shuts off in Cubase, after successful start. Seems like an issue with ASIO drivers (which are Windows originals installed from the Cubase CD). Would maybe WineASIO bring relief? I tried to install it multiple times, to no avail. Is there some simple way to install it?
PS
Needless to say, I run latest Wine.
Windows DAW on Fedora 25
Re: Windows DAW on Fedora 25
what error do you get while installing wineASIO.
Reaper, ardour, mixbus can work without wineasio, athough you can find the later as Linux native applications
