I can not install IE8 with winetricks

I'm trying to install ie8 with winetricks "winetricks ie8" to run Maxthon, but only get one window that says: "Setup cannot continue because a more recent version of Internet Explorer has been detected on this computer." but I have not installed anything ¿?.

Is there any solution for this?

Using: Wine 1.9.3 (waiting for the repository) with Fedora 23.

Your winetricks is old. Get the latest version from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winet ... winetricks.
