Help please. Skyrim won't load at "new game". Freezes...

I just bought Skyrim for my macbook through steam and I can't figure out what I did or am doing wrong. I created a wrapper and named it 'steam' and managed to install the game, however, when I select 'new game' on Skyrim, I start to load the loading screen and then a few seconds later the whole thing freezes and I have to ctr alt del to escape.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you for your time.

Third party Wine "wrappers" are not supported here, and you didn't mention what Wine version you're using. Retest in the latest development release of plain Wine, without any "wrappers," and if the problem persists, post terminal output.

Um, I only did as the instructions told me on two sites? I'm sorry I don't know much about this program besides what I try from several different tutorials, which probably is why this is happening to begin with.

It says wrapper version 2.6.0 and Engine WS9Wine1.7.44, is this the info you need?
