Audio settings winecfg wont save/full screen keyboard issue

First question: When I change the audio settings from system default to another, they do not persist after I restart the computer. I am using mac os x 10.10.3

*****As a side note, the reason I am changing my audio preferences is in hopes to fix an issue I am having where when I boot up something using wine and use skype, at some point my microphone stops working correctly and plays a half second loop to the others listening. Only way to fix it one this happens is a reboot. I figured this is an issue that is beyond the scope of this forum, but I guess backstory hopefully helps. *****


Second question: When running the games from the orcs must die franchise, and I command-tab out, the window repops to the front of my screen and if i ever manage to get back to the game in full screen, pressing keys make the error "funk" sound, any key does. However, my mouse has no issue returning to the game and can still work it's abilities (shoot, look around, etc). Thoughts?
