First of all, I'd like to suggest that CJK languages fonts to be supported by default in future Wine builds, because getting this to work manually is a headache.
ok, so what I am trying to do now is to fix the boxes and corrupted CJK texts in some applications. I want to play Touhou Project, I know it is a japanese game but I have the chinese translated version, and neither the original Japanese version or the Chinese version displays the in game text correctly. Plus, if I have CJK characters in file path, the application simply won't run at all.
I did some googling around and found a way to create a registry file that replaces some text to chinese fonts, which partially fixed some texts in game.
I know about the LANG=ja stuff in terminal, but I know that there is a better way, a permanent solution that will make the text display correctly without going through the terminal everytime you want to run a CJK program.
I also followed this article to install the missing fonts, however, I cannot download the registry file on there because sendspace doesn't have it anymore, if you guys know what it is, tell me.

Need help on CJK fonts
Re: Need help on CJK fonts
There's no need to go through the terminal every time. Just add the LANG variable to the command in the menu link.masterfu678 wrote: I know about the LANG=ja stuff in terminal, but I know that there is a better way, a permanent solution that will make the text display correctly without going through the terminal everytime you want to run a CJK program.

Use whatever menu editor your desktop environment provides.
