Wine not working for Arlequin

Hi!
I downloaded wine on my Mac (Mojave v10.14.6) and it worked for one program (Bayescan) but it doesn't work properly for another program (Arlequin). I got Arlequin to open using wine but when I try to run it nothing happens. I tried downloading wine on another computer and it still did not work (same problem) but on a third computer it did work properly. Do you know why I might be having this problem?

Try running it from the terminal and post the output.

There is no error message when I use wine for the gui version of arlequin but the button to start the analysis doesn't work. It seems as though I downloaded wine fine but it doesn't result in a functioning program for arlequin. However it does work on a different computer so it shouldn't be a compatibility thing between wine and arlequin. Are there certain versions of macs that wine doesn't work well with?

Are you using the same wine version in both cases?
