Cannot run a PS2 emulator originally for Windows

Post by Turbo_Razor »

My wine version is 5.0, I am running macOS Sierra version 10.12.6, iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Startup Disk: Macintosh HD, Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB (Not sure if all of this is helpful or not).

I run this command: "wine DXSETUP.exe"
and I continuously get this error message: "0009:fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly L"Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" (6.0.0.0)
0010:err:ole:marshal_object couldn't get IPSFactory buffer for interface {00000131-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}
0009:fixme:heap:RtlSetHeapInformation 0x0 1 0x0 0 stub
0014:fixme:sfc:SRSetRestorePointA 00BBFC74 00BF8504
0014:err:mscoree:LoadLibraryShim error reading registry key for installroot"

I was following this youtube tutorial: https://youtu.be/alivMtCd9_U

This is my first time using Wine and I don't know much about coding wither, please let me know if I'm doing something wrong or I cannot use Wine on my Mac!

Before trying any workarounds or tutorials did you try just installing the PS2 emulator directly from their download page first?
The tutorial may be out of date.
