I'm a complete noob to using Wine and I'm not sure if I've done something wrong or what but I could really do with some help trying to open up the Steam store within Wine.
I use Wine to open up the Steam.exe file, I enter all my log in details, register my device, steam store updates but all I get is a black screen and nothing loads. I've tried quitting Wine and starting again but I still get the same thing. I read on a Reddit post that maybe changing the config to Windows XP would load the store but the person who tried this wasn't able to play anything after the store loaded.

The Steam store hasn’t work on stock wine for a while now, it only works work on CrossOver-19 currently or wine built from its source.

I tried using Steam from a homebrew built version of Wine Stable 5.0 . Does it work with this version of WINE? Or do I need a special configuration? I have the same problems as the OP. Sometimes I can see the windows with no content after logging in, sometimes no windows show up at all. My Library doesn't show up either.
Steam worked for many years and I was pretty shocked to find out my prior configuration no longer would launch. I guess the dropping of XP support did it in.

That or use min-library view that’s better then nothing
