Help with ENTER key

Hi,

I'm running a messenger app for work, problem is, when I hit enter, it creates a line and doesn't send the message as I want it to. What can I do?

Enter works normally within all applications I’ve tried, look into the applications settings it lightly has a setting to change how enter works.
