Hi Guys! My son is into flight simulators and I would love to get him an X-Planes or other close-to-real-life flight simulator. The problem is that he has a MacBook Air (not the newest one, about 7 years old, but recently rebooted and having all the drivers updated). Would it be possible to run the X-Planes through Wine, or can you recommend any other simlulator that would work? Thanks in advance!

According to https://www.x-plane.com/desktop/try-it/ there is a native MacOS version.

Only way you can really know is to try it out as @jkfloris said above they do have a Mac versions so try that demo first then if needed try a windows demo inside Wine.
