can't install wine

i downloaded the stable installer and wanted to install wine but every time i try it says i didn't install quartz even though i did. can someone help me?

You need to install XQuartz like it says;
https://www.xquartz.org/releases/XQuartz-2.7.7.html

Use that version unless you want to have bugged fonts.
