Installing Winetricks on MacOS

I've followed all of the instructions on the Winetricks wiki to the letter, but no matter what I do, terminal keeps bashing with the error "No such file or directory". I have the most recent version downloaded, it's on my desktop, and at least to my knowledge, the contents of the file are complete. I've also tried redownloading it twice, as well as renaming the master file to just 'winetricks' instead of 'winetricks-Master'. At this point, I've no idea what to do, and I'd very much appreciate some help, even if I look like an idiot in the process.
