I keep on trying to install steam and when i finish downloading, it keeps on crashing. It won't even start.

Specs macOs Sierra
iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010)
3.06 GHz Intel Core i3
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

It's already fixed in git and wine-staging. The fix will be in the next stable and development releases.

I have the same problem like Winnerhelp has. I would like to apply avaible patch but I really don´t have any idea how to do it.
Any help is appreciated.

There's no need to patch anything, as it has already been committed. If you don't want to build Wine yourself, either install wine-staging 2.12 or wait for the next development or stable release.

How long will it take? As well as it applies to wine bottler as well? Sorry, I'm a complete noob.

I cant invite friends, or play with friends in steamgames with wine-staging 2.12.
There seem to be connection problems and it worked before so i guess it doesnt have to do with my router?

Packages for wine-staging with the fix are already available. Packages for the development release due out next Friday will have the fix.

As for winebottler, that's not supported here; ask on their forum.

I also agree with tacoh, as joining friends on steam seem to not work. Any clues on that?
