I am using Wine Staging version 1.9.14 to run Airmail for Sailmail, while I observed the behavior described below also with earlier versions. Airmail (http://siriuscyber.net/sailmail/) is a windows software that allows for sending end receiving mails via HF and is mainly used by sailors who want to stay in contact with people back on land during longer passages. Overall it behaves mostly like a mail client and has some additional maritime and HF specific features.
The software generally works the only issue I experience is that the application window does not update all the time. It seems that update issues are related to standard containers that MFC or similar libraries provide. There are two symptoms I observe.
1. The window has artifacts like shown in the attached images.
