Hi (I'm a newbie - sorry),
I'm running a French based stock trading technical analysis application called Waldata Platinium (http://www.waldata.fr) and find that it freezes intermittently, especially after unlocking the mac from it's lock screen.
However, I don't think it's the application that is the cause as I have it running under fedora 20 fine under vmware on Windows 7 and have noticed wine regedit or wine explorer freezing intermittently too on the mac too.
I have followed the installation instructions and used the brew install wine --devel method having rebooted my mac once XQuartz was installed.
wine --version = wine-1.7.18
fedora 20 wine --version = 1.7.16
My mac is completely up to date. I'm running from a Terminal window and only get this message displayed (not sure it's significant)
/usr/local/bin/wine ~/.wine/drive_c/WALDATA/MILLENIUM/PLATINIUM.EXE
fixme:urlmon:InternetBindInfo_GetBindString not supported string type 20
I've tried changing the Windows API from Windows XP to Windows 7 but get the same result.
Not sure what to do next!
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
OSX 10.9 Wine freezes intermittently
