Medieval II: Total war Gold on Mac OSX Lion

Post by keyser_soze »

Hi. I'm trying to install this, and have run into problems.

While it's installed now, it's impossible to run.
I installed it using CrossOver. Is this any help?
If I could just be given some advice, that would be a great help. Thanks!

Support for Crossover is provided by Codeweavers. This forum is for plain Wine.

I've stopped using crossover now, and am now using Wineskin.
Problem is, I don't know how to make the .exes a program that works on a mac.
Can I get some help here?

No. As I already told you, this forum is for plain Wine; that means no third party apps.

Wineskin has its own support forum. http://wineskin.doh123.com/tiki-view_fo ... ?forumId=1

CodeWeavers provides support for CrossoverMac and CrossOverMac for Games.

Might I suggest a visit to the MacPorts or Fink projects so you can
install 'vanilla' Wine?
