Problem install LTspiceIV

Hi,

I am a Mac osx 10.6 user.
I followed this tutorial to install wine and LTspice.

After download the LTspiceIV.exe from Linear website. I put it into my home folder, and try to run "wine LTspiceIV.exe" from my terminal.

Here is the error message I got:

err:module:map_image Could not map section .rdata, file probably truncated
err:module:map_image Could not map section .rdata, file probably truncated
wine: Bad EXE format for Z:\Users\sampan\LTspiceIV.exe

Can anyone help? Thanks!

I don't do mac's and the instructions look sound. From the error is
looks like a corrupted or truncated download. rename the exe and try
downloading again. And does wine winecfg run without an error?

The winecfg run without error. I tried rename LTspice.exe to spice.exe, still gave me the same error.

You are going to have to re-download that file. Renaming it is NOT
going to fix the problem.

The byte size of the file I received is 9,519,104.

And, yes, the program installs but has problems. Please look at the
Applications Database entry for the program.

James
