Hi,
I'm having some trouble running Master of Olympus - Zeus in Wine for Mac. I use Wine 1.2.2 (installed via MacPorts), and I'm running Mac OS 10.6.6 on a 2 GHz Intel MacBook.
I installed the program from the command line by first changing to the correct directory (on the original cd), and then running
wine setup.exe
All the way through the installation, everything looked all right, no errors or anything. When I try running the game, again I change to the correct directory, and run
wine zeus.exe
And nothing happens. There is no output in the terminal, X11 doesn't open, and wine just keeps running indefinitely at 100% cpu. According to Activity monitor, there is no change in the amount of memory it uses (11 MB), so as far as I can tell it's not doing much. However it doesn't show up as "not responding" or anything like that.
I tried running it with
WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+tid wine Zeus.exe
and the output can be seen here: http://web.phys.ntnu.no/~nordam/zeus.txt (4.2 MB)
I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this. I note while Zeus gets a platinum rating in the AppDB, none of the testers seems to have used a Mac, so I guess it could be Mac related issue.

I have the same problem.
I also use Wine 1.2.2 from MacPorts in Mac OS 10.6.6 on a 2.4 GHz MacBook.
I love this game. It annoys me no end that I cannot make it work.

xterm
Yes, I tried that, but it didn't work. I don't remember exactly what happened, though, but I'll try it again when I get home from work today and get back to you.X11 or Xquartz doesn't even try to launch?
have you run one of them and used xterm to run Wine instead of Terminal.app?
