My Computer: OpenSuSE Tumbleweed acual, Plasma, wine 6.18
Under OpenTx there was recently a problem with an expired certificate. The program companion23 (OpenTx 2.3.14) could no longer access the program and firmware downloads.
The solution could be found quickly on github-opentx and on rcgroups. On Windows the problem was quickly solved by installing the new certificate and a patched version of companion23.
Under Linux it doesn't look so rosy, but that's not the topic here. I installed the new certificate using 'kleopatra', which also worked, but did not fix the problem on Linux.
A temporary possibility would be to use the Windows version con companion23 under wine. After installing the software under wine, the program starts fine, but also has no access and returns an error message.
So wine can't access any certificate in contrast to Windows, the problem remains.
Now my question: Does wine use the Linux resources for installed certificates or does it use its own or the Windows method? How can I reinstall certificates for wine?
Maybe someone knows.
Thanks for reading.
Bye
