Program only runs at 96dpi

I have a new laptop with a HiDPI 3840x2160 display resolution, running Wine 6.16 under Arch Linux. Most apps, including Wine, require me to make some adjustments to make the fonts into anything other than microscopic. With Wine, I've run winecfg and changed the display resolution from 96dpi to something bigger, like 180dpi. That works to render Windows fonts into something readable. But my main app that I use in Wine, Topaz DeNoise AI, crashes if I have the dpi set to anything other than 96. It starts to load, shows the splash screen, but as soon as it tries to display the menu, it crashes.

If I reset the dpi back to 96 in winecfg, the program runs fine, but on this display the fonts are miniscule.

Here's the output when I run the program in a terminal. I've looked but don't see any errors jumping out at me. Any recommendations for getting this app to work with this display?

Follow-up: I tested this on a different computer (a desktop with an nVidia GPU) and the result is the same: at 96 dpi the program runs. At any other resolution, even 97 dpi, the program crashes.

Are there other options for increasing the font size in Wine besides winecfg > Graphics > Screen resolution?
