Something wrong with the wine repository

Post by shag00 »

Did these 3 things:
- install Kubuntu 21.04
- Installed system updates via Discover
- Followed this https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu

Result: Wine requires itself installed as a dependency
Please see attached.

Worked without problems last week.
wine.tar.gz
screen pront
(1.2 KiB) Downloaded 90 times

From the log you unnecessarily compressed, wasting my time in downloading and extracting it:

Code: Select all

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 winehq-stable : Depends: wine-stable (= 6.0.1~hirsute-1)
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
The problem is with your system, not the repository. Follow the instructions in https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#How_do_I_so ... ll_Wine.3F to figure it out.

In the future, simply paste short logs into your post. If they're long, use a pastebin site and post a link.
