I have a very weird issue that I don't know how to troubleshoot: on my Fedora 33 my main user cannot use wine, any try end up like that:
Code: Select all

00c8:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
00c8:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow The explorer process failed to start.
But, on the exact same computer, with the same parameters (Plasma on X with NVidia proprietary drivers) but with a new user (I created a test user for that kind of troubleshooting) it just works... Everything works as it use to be (with VKD3D and all).
I have tried to remove my .wine directory and the .cache/wine and .cache/winetricks directories.
Even weirder: I can run lutris wine versions up to 5.6.7 (5.7.11, 5.21.2 and 6.0 end up like my system 6.0-staging) and I can run Proton 5.13 and Proton-experimental (I play Cyberpunk 2077 with it).
When I am in my test session and `su` on my main user, I can run winecfg (which I can't from my main session).
It looks like something went wrong in an update process but I have no more idea to continue my investigation.
If it helps:
Code: Select all
wine --version
wine-6.0 (Staging)
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers.
