hello everybody
New in Linux world and on this forum, I need your help please...
I have a (HP 4730s probook) laptop and a desktop computer both equipped with Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon.
On the laptop I could install Sketchup 2017 following this procedure :

Everything passed well, thanks for the way forward
If you want a copy/paste of the way forward, don't hesitate to ask.
I just tried to install it on the desktop computer (and on another laptop too) and during the step 9 of the procedure : wine configuration, I have an issue.
Indeed, instead of the wine config window opening, I have only...vertical dashes in the middle of my screen as you can see on the following screenshot :
however, when I try the winecfg command in terminal, it's ok, the wine window appears...
can anyone help me please ?
What information do you need ?
Thanks in advance
wine issue during sketchup installation
Re: wine issue during sketchup installation
It appears from your screen capture you are using PlayOnLinux and it would it would appear that error is coming from PlayOnLinux itself.
That's how it appears. So, did you install using PlayOnLinux?>
