Error running Gearotic 3.0

I have installed Gearotic 3.0 on Ubuntu 19.10 using Wine 4.0.2 and the installation was successful. However, when running Gearotic I get the following error:

wine: Unhandled exception 0x40000015 in thread 9 at address 0x8d8bb3 (thread 0009), starting debugger...

Wine then crashes and the program doesn't run. I really don't understand the error. I tried removing and reinstalling Wine but that didn't work. Can anyone help?
