I am a new linux(ubuntu) user and I tried installing Sibelius with WINE. Installing is successful however when I try to run it with wine nothing happens, so I tried running it through the terminal with wine, and then I get
LoadLibrary failed: Check your system32 or SysWOW64 directory for AvidRemoteObjects364.dll
I tried copying the DLL from my desktop which has sibelius installed but I couldn't find it in neither system32 nor syswow64
What do I do?
Missing DLL for Sibelius
Re: Missing DLL for Sibelius
There's this thread viewtopic.php?f=8&t=31334
and this bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47174
It seems to need a hack to run, meaning you would have to build wine yourself unfortunately. You can subscribe to the bug to get any updates. If you do build wine make sure to run the installer and the app both using 'wine start' to avoid the DLL error.
