Devolo Cockpit TCP/IP Issue

Post by tux1980 »

Hi,

I'm using the Windows Software Devolo Cockpit for operating my DLAN Network.
Wine Version: wine-5.0
OS: Fedora 31

I can even start the software but the software is stating that it can't find any TCP/IP bindings and it claims I would have to install TCP/IP at first (attached the screenshot from the message).

Any Idea how ich might solve that issue?

Thanks!

Wolfgang

It seems that there is also a Linux version:

Why do you need the Windows version?

This Version is actually/mainly build for Ubuntu. I have been running in some problems... But I just saw there got a new version released two days ago... Will give it another try.

Have you had any luck in getting Devolo Cockpit to run on Fedora Linux (3x)? My attempts on Fedora 32 are still failing and I would highly appreciate any pointers.
