wine playonlinux steam ubuntu issues installing PLEASE HELP

Installed wine, tried many versions in the configure tab. uninstalled the steam virtual drive many times trying both win vista all the way to win 10. Made sure to set argument to "-no-cef-sandbox". Using ubuntu 18.4. Every time i tride i have ran it in debug mode, but that does no good as I have no idea what im looking for in the log files. All i get is a repeating error code list. I am not really computer savy so anyone undertaking helping me will be a mighty achievement. I do understand how to open a ubuntu terminal, but from there on im copy and paste from the internet to use terminal.
