the FAQ says that its possible to prevent the creating of file associations. what does this mean exactly? there are desktop files for menu entries in ~/.local/share/applications and also desktop files in ~/desktop. additionally there are entries in ~/.config/mimeapps.list that are displayed when i right click on a file. what off these things is disabled?
i wish i could disable all of that.
