All wine prefixes share a common windows registry
After recently playing around with the wine registry I discovered that changes made in one prefix showed up in the others. So for example if I make a change in the registry of the prefix .wine those changes are mirrored in my .wine2 prefix and visa-versa. As separate prefixes should they not have independent, totally separate registries?

Did you set the WINEPREFIX= variable?
