I've been dealing with a strange issue with the Guild Wars 2 trading post.
Since upgrading my computer to Slackware-current, if I use any package of WINE compiled on my computer, Guild Wars 2's trading post will display "net::ERR_FAILED" and won't load. (Neither will the news stories in the launcher.)
WINE versions I've tried: 4.10, 4.9 staging, and 4.10 staging. (Using Dugan's slackbuild: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dugan ... SlackBuild)
Versions of WINE that work: 4.2-7 proton, the old package of 4.9-staging I compiled on my old computer, Alien Bob's "official" slackware package (4.0-staging: http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/wine/build/) I can compile a version of WINE that has a working trading post, if I use Alien Bob's exact build script and resources.
Tonight I made a version of WINE staging 4.10 from his package, but I also used wine-mono 4.8.3. The trading post failed to load. I have not yet tried to build the package with 4.10-staging, but with wine-mono 4.7.5.
Is this a bug with wine-mono? (I have the package of 4.10-staging building with wine-mono 4.7.5, but won't get to test it until tomorrow.)
Guild Wars 2 trading post bugged?
Re: Guild Wars 2 trading post bugged?
Oh wait, is it this bug? https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47167 I am using gcc 9.1.0 as of last Wednesday.
