Autoservices under wine

Post by dav2oct » Mon Oct 01, 2018 4:25 pm

Hi! I need to run a cad program that in turn need to have an active license server running in background in windows. In a normal windows installations this service is usually started at the boot time of the machine.
I have the latest version of wine in a Debian machine, and the installation of the licence server is fine, but when I reboot the wine bootle (reboot is needed in a normal windows machine at least once, after installing the licence server) I get this error on the console:

000f:err:service:process_send_command service protocol error - failed to write pipe!
000f:fixme:service:scmdatabase_autostart_services Auto-start service L"EESoft Flexnet Licence Server" failed to start: 1053
Could not get handle to service.

And of course I am not able to run the cad application since the license server does not properly boot up. I am a novice user with wine, is there a proper way to manage services that should start at boot ?
Thank you in advance !
