Hi,

I´m trying to install wine 3.0.2 (both 64- and 32-bits) on CentOs7 64-bit, having followed various guides on howto make that happen (e.g. https://www.systutorials.com/239913/install-32-bit-wine-1-8-centos-7/). But I keep getting an error message when trying to perform "make install" of the 32-bit.
The error message is:
"dlls/acledit/install-lib error 126" which I interpret as to that the acledit.dll.so doesn´t exist. So from which package does this belong? Shouldn´t it be available by wine-package?

The PC I´m using is an offline machine, so it hasn´t any access to internet.
I´ve installed extra packages according to a list found on a different forumhttps://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-software-2/wine-3-0-3-centos-7-5-run-32-bit-windows-programs-4175629844/page2.html#post5857876,

Can someone point me in the right direction to get Wine working on CentOs7?

@parham

Technically you actually need help "building" wine... A subtle, but important difference! :lol:

This process will probably be quite hard on CentOS, see: WineHQ Forums: CentOS/RHEL/Scientific Linux 7 users read this.

Please, in future, use the forum Code:
Code:
Code
tags for terminal output and commands.

Btw the current Wine Stable release is 3.0.3 now...

Thanks
Bob

FYI, there is a user-provided repository for 32 bit CentOS 7 Wine packages at https://gitlab.com/harbottle/wine32. If you only need 32 bit, they might be worth trying. (Disclaimer: I have not tried the packages from this repository and they are not supported here.)
