I wanted to play Star Trek Online on my Ubuntu 18.04.1, so I loaded the .exe-file, installed the launcher and withit STO. But when I tried to start the game, the terminal sayed there would be trouble with the DirectX Feature Level:
ERROR: Failed to detect DirectX Feature Level
So far so good. I searched for troubles of this kind and learned that enable the CSMT-function could solve the problem. To do this I installed wine staging as well as wine tricks and made my way through the registary to set CSMT to enabled. Unfortunally that doesn't help, I get the same error again and again.
My Wine version is 3.0. I would be verry glad if somebody could help me, I am just despairing...
Maybe I forgot something? 'Cause STO works fine for most people with Ubuntu.Thanks verry much!
