internet explorer uninstall help

I tried to install internet explorer 64 bit for windows 2003 mode as vista does not work. I created a new play on linux virtual drive, but i get the error "newer version of internet explorer on computer" so how do i uninstall it?

PlayOnLinux is not supported here.

Installing real IE is not recommended due to all the overrides needed, and AFAIK, no version newer than IE8 has ever worked in Wine (and that works badly). But if you really want to try, you probably need to uninstall wine-gecko from the wineprefix to get rid of that message about a newer version on the computer.

I needed real ie because i wanted to try and run wildtangent with it because its 64 bit. wt runs with ie6, but crashes due to it being 64 bit. ie8 autocrashes when i try, and its only 32 bit thats why i said i'd do 7.

how do i even access this wine prefix to uninstall geko?

Wine's uninstaller should be able to uninstall it.
