Hi,
I've been using computers since the 80s but have only recently got involved with Ubuntu Linux and, thereby, Wine.
Id been seeking a method for installing iTunes and came across an Ask Ubuntu answer which appeared to offer step-by-step instructions for installing Wine, ensuring the iTunes distribution was executable under Linux and to then right-click on the setup file and choose Wine to install it.
I did all this and it appeared to work, until the final step. Asking the Wine Program Loader to launch the iTunes setup resulted in the "busy" cursor for about 20 seconds - then nothing more!
The step-by-step was remarkably straight-forward but it didn't work. What have I done wrong? What have I missed?
If there is a real, step-by-step idiot's guide to help me, please point it out to me!

Can you post a link to the Ask Ubuntu answer? Maybe some steps are outdated.
